Privacy Commitment

Our Privacy Commitment sets out the procedures we follow to meet our privacy commitment to our clients and to comply with the requirements of the federal Protection of Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and the BC Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”). Who has access to your data:

Members of our team have access to order information such as what was purchased, and when it was purchased. We will also have access your name, your email address, and your learning preferences.

Brave Learning Circles has security measures in place to protect personally identifiable information from loss or misuse. Only authorized individuals have access to personally identifiable information and that access is on a need-to-know basis.

We accept payments using reputable third party processors. We accept payments through https://www.authorize.net/. When processing your payments, some of your data will be passed to https://www.authorize.net/ including information required to process or support the payments, such as purchasing and billing information. When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes and compliance with the applicable privacy legislation.
